Sensominds' Partnership with women space
Each year Womenspace serves thousands of survivors and children from communities of color, tribal communities, LGBTQIA community, survivors with disabilities, men, and the rural communities in Lane County. Domestic violence is everywhere and does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, politics, economic position, education, or gender.
Womenspace has been providing safety, hope, and healing to survivors of intimate partner violence for over 40 years. They believe everyone has the right to a life free from violence and fear of abuse.
Their services are designed to support survivors in their efforts to find safety and heal from the trauma of intimate partner violence.
Here at Senso Minds we realized this tauma is not just localized to the partner but also the children. These traumatic events may be overwhelming and difficult to process. Senso Minds is dedicated to providing resources to best support these children while in shelter and/or attending support groups.
Our products and sensory kits alike have brought calm and peace to these children lives allowing them to better cope and manage with daily stressors and effects of trauma. We stand by not only Womenspace, but all children as well who are simply trying to make the best of what the world has given.
